FOX19 First Alert Weather App Reviews

I really liked the app until recently. Now the radar will only show me the past and not the future. I do not care about the past radar but I would like to see the future.

Latest update is a major disappointment. It wont rotate to landscape and I was stunned at how the new format bombards you with ads. Almost every other panel has an ad in addition to ads when you open the app. The older version was actually one of my favorite weather apps with minimal ads and a rotating feature that let you focus on the weather. As a person from Cincinnati, I liked having one local app that worked well, now Ill have to rely on one of the big weather apps instead. This is definitely leaving my device.

This was my favorite weather until this latest update. I am a musician who plays a number of outdoor gigs and have relied on this app to know if and when the weather will turn bad. I dont want to be bombarded with advertisements and would be fine with paying a reasonable removal fee. But if that option doesnt appear very soon, the app is history from my phone.

Good before last update. Steve still makes the weather videos, I greatly appreciate them

It loads maybe 65 percent of the time and when it does load it freezes. The radar is never accurate when its raining or storming it always says its clear. I am really tired of this app if its not fixed soon I will be deleting.

I love this app! It is by far the best Cincinnati mobile app, especially the best weather app available. Good quality pics that upload quickly. The app navigates quickly as well. I use this app nearly everyday. One thing I would like would be during the snow emergencies it would be nice to have an option to see the cities level of emergencies and closings. But again, this app is awesome and works well. And specialty thanks to Steve for doing a great job!

Crashes a lot but when it works it is pretty good.

When it works it is great but that is only about a quarter of the time. but the rest of the time it crashes either when loading up or using the radar.

I like the radar feature the most for this app. On the downside, the location cant be zeroed in very close to my house. If I pan to my location though the radar is very informative during a storm.

The videos rarely work correctly. Needs to be fixed. Otherwise the other features have worked as advertised for me. Usually the most up to date of all wx apps in Cincinnati.

And NOT ONE alert today... What gives????

I love this app, but the videos have been very glitchy lately. If that was fixed Id give it 5 stars

I havent gotten tornado alerts or anything anymore for months. My alerts are on in settings. Please fix!

I love this app because I can get a quick forecast with rain probability! It opens with Doppler radar. All you could ever want in an weather app. I hope they dont change it cause it is perfect!!

None of the features work. No temp in status, no alerts, compass wont stay on.

I tried other weather apps and this is the best one.
